39.22. is a new design collective that supports, produces and manufactures Greek national talent.
Founded and supported by Vassilios Bartzokas, CEO of CARTECO, 39.22. combines the best in design sourcing, product development, marketing and distribution. 39.22. is proudly supported by CARTECO (www.carteco.gr) and production and distribution partner WALL&DECO(www.wallanddeco.com).
During the 2009 design week, 39.22. will be presenting its first wallpaper
collections STREET COLOURS and FORM at VIA SAVONA 18, MILANO.
The exhibition will also feature a special 39.22. FILM projection produced with LIVING PROJECTS(www.living-projects.co.uk).
Our collections
The first wallpaper collection entitled STREET COLOURS is inspired by the streets of Athens. 39.22. has sourced the street artists of Athens and bring them to the world of interiors by creating a unique series of dynamic and vibrant wallpapers.
39.22. is proud to present Street Artists b., LITTLL and DREYK.
The second collection entitled FORM takes inspiration from textile design, graphics and environmental issues. This colourful and tactile collection offers a variety of designs to enhance any interior world. 39.22.is proud to present the work of ANNIE PAPADIMITRIOU, ANNA PSAROUDAKI and MARTIN ERICSSON.
Zona Tortona Media Suite
In addition, 39.22. are delighted to be working with DESIGN PARTNERS on creating the MEDIA SUITE for ZONA TORTONA which, this year, will be housed in the exclusive Penthouse Suite of the NHOW HOTEL in VIA TORTONA 35.
The brief required a space that is comfortable and practical, featuring design elements with ZONA TORTONA branding. Overall the atmosphere is that of a private members’ club; a calm, relaxing and quiet space, offering visitors a 'home from home' exclusive location inside the circuit of ZONA TORTONA, a nice contrast from the intensity of the event and other activities.
The MEDIA SUITE will also feature 39.22. custom designed elements, such as the LINEAR EXAKK BAR and EXAKK WELCOME DESK featuring one of the 39.22.
wallpaper designs, EXAKK from our new collection entitled STREET COLOURS. These furniture items are being produced and sponsored by COSTA GROUP (http://www.costagroup.net/).
The inspiration for the 39.22. custom furniture is based on the graphic qualities of the wallpaper which is complemented by furniture and lighting pieces we have selected from some of the most famous companies in the design sector.
In addition, 39.22. have designed a custom ZONA TORTONA EXAKK wallpaper featuring the ZONA TORTONA Logo. The customized wallpaper structure represents the urban network and communication offered by ZONA TORTONA.
