CV/Myrmigi Design House :
Myrmigi design house was founded in 2008 by three friends who decided to become colleagues. Their main goal is to combine different aspects of art and mixed media, in order to create something different and aesthetically pleasing.
We offer high-end creative design services. Our aim is developing ideas based on difference and experimentation with a little touch of humor. We produce work for multiple design applications (motion design, graphic design, 3D design) and animation projects (2D/3D).

Project/Showreel:
Project/Greenpeace ID Re-launching:
The environmental organization Greenpeace, had decided to launch a new campaign re-launching their ID here in Greece. We were humbled and excited when we took that responsibility and making it come to life! We illustrated their activities, designed a new corporate brochure, made an animated short and bound a flipbook to accompany it. All of the above warped up in a beautiful multi-use bag that becomes a recycle-bin. Both the brochure and the animation presentation video informs the audience about the values and activities of Greenpeace in an original, compared to their contemporary style, way.
The context of the words shown in the video is: nuclear power / genetically altered products / climate changes / ancient forests / sea ecology and toxic waste. Towards the end of the video the phrase "we can change" appears, followed by, "together we can change the world", expressing the need for joined efforts to make a difference. The core values of the organization, (non-violent confrontation - financial independence - mutual action) appear last and include all that Greenpeace stands and fights for.
Project/Aeschylia 2009 TVC:
TV commercial for the needs of Aeschylia festival held in the ancient town of Elefsina. A highly cultural and artistic festival which goes way back in time with an impressive variety of venues. For this project we collaborated with 2Yolk.
Project/Nektar TVC:
TV commercial for the soda brand “Nektar”. An alternative view on the aesthetics of Olympus and the Ancient Greek Gods, who decide to favour the mortals by giving them the everwanted “Nektar”. Advertising agency: IDEA MSC.
As the brand's name suggests, the Gods of Olympus had decided to allow mortals in the pleasure of enjoying their wondrous drink. Zeus, being the first of the Gods, commands his messenger Hermes to spread the news. But Hermes, being a little airhead in our version, hesitates and wonders where the mortals would find such a treat on earth. Being sarcastic, Zeus explains that "Nektar" drink can be found in all the fridges, leaving Hermes disappointed he hadn't thought of this before.
Project/EBGE '10 Introductory Video:
For the needs of the annual EBGE design awards, (Greek Graphic Design & Illustration Awards), we were asked to create an introductory video for the “illustration” category. Enjoy!!
Project/EBGE '09 Introductory Video:
For the needs of the annual EBGE design awards, (Greek Graphic Design & Illustration Awards), we were asked to create an introductory video for the “Packaging” category. Everything can be “wrapped in a package”, is our way of seeing things…
Project/Myrmigi Self Promotional Box:
A story about the fusion of three different worlds. An autobiographical tale for the needs of our corporate ID. We designed and illustrated a book, made a short animation based on the story, four different flipbooks and a hand-made packaging box to include all that.
The video is divided in three parts, each one describing our own world. Myriam’s world is full of music, weird creatures, colour and bubbles. The words accompanying the image are “my world..is unpredictable”. Michael’s world has a unique characteristic. It’s got three dimensions! The words are “only one line.. can reveal different paths”. Yiannis is a graphic designer with the special ability to create anything by mixing just 4 colours. His words are “I have only 4 colours” and his road sign leads him “destroying to create”.
Project/Pixel Hero:
Logo design and other applications for Pixel Hero creative agency.
Project/Alpha TV: Fill-in animation:
Launching its new TV program, Alpha channel decided to make a group of fill-in animations that informed the viewer of the following show’s content (comedy, drama, action, etc). For this project we collaborated with Deep Green Sea.
Project/One way or another (Etsi ki allios):
A game of contrast. Reality vs. dream, narration vs. the spontaneity of the listener. An experimental short for the “Contrast: a video projection project” show. Organized by the Greek Design Association for the ED Awards.
Project/Invisible Hotel:
For the needs of “The Invisible Hotel” exhibition in Deste Foundation, a series of animation videos were created for the winner’s presentations. We made the video for the “Invisible City” of Kostis Paniyiris, Iro Bertaki and Christina Loukopoulou.
